With more than 10 years of experience in general litigation work, Cheng’s area of practice is focused on family law, dispute arising from strata management, and probate and administration claims.
Cheng's experience in family law includes marital disputes, maintenance for the spouse and child, judicial separation, annulment of marriage, child custody, enforcement of custody, maintenance orders and injunctions.
Cheng has also represented joint management bodies (JMBs) and Management Corporations (MCs) in disputes concerning issues such as mixed-development disputes, delineation of common property and facilities, Management body meetings, house rules and mutual covenants.
Cheng has made appearance in both the High Court and the Appellate Courts. During his time away from Court, Cheng provides trainings, talks and public seminars for joint management bodies, management corporations, sub-contractors' networks and workshops arranged by the news media.
